SkinwalkerHe comes. The skinwalker, the shapeshifter. Our tribe can see him, the skin of Coyote about his shoulders.

He comes. Yee naaldlooshii, he goes on all fours.  Our wives hear him cry, the voices of our loved ones in his throat.

He comes. User of cursed objects, follower of Frenzy Way. Our children hide from him, his terrible charms to escape.

He comes. The witch, killer of his own kin. Our braves will meet him, bullets of white ash to piece his skin.

He flees. The wounded one, danger to all Navajo. Our people will hunt him, a single wound to reveal the witch.

Guardian of MythsIn my dreams, I know I have slept for centuries, waiting to wake alone.

I know not what awakens me, then- only that I do.  Eyes still closed, I breath deep, filling my lungs with the rich scent of the forest, earthy and in bloom. A soft breeze brushes across my face, and I know I should feel a slight chill.  Instead, I find I am surrounded by warmth. Stretching slightly, I run my fingers through silken strands of the blanket spread across my lap and the luxurious fur beneath my head.

A sound like a soft rumble of thunder catches my dreaming attention in such a way that I feel sure it has been there in my ear all along. Sighing, I finally op

The first of several experiments! My buddy ~TouchFeel was playing with wirewrapping and I decided to attempt a few as well!

I have an awesome collection of stones that I've had for years and I pulled a few out to try.

Materials
1 large smokey quartz
Labradorite chips
Varied jade rounds
Wire
Filigree piece (a gift from the awesome *redLillith)
